The story behind Another Chance and why this work matters.
Our Story
Another Chance Rehabilitation Center is a non-profit and faith-driven sanctuary in Chongwe, Zambia, dedicated to helping people break free from drug and alcohol addiction through compassionate and affordable care.
How It Began
Founded by Priscilla Bwalya, the centre was born from personal loss and years of witnessing loved ones suffering from alcoholism, mental illness, job loss, and even death—often without access to proper treatment.
A New Beginning
In December 2025, through prayer and determination, our rehabilitation center in Chongwe opened its doors.
Why We Exist
In Zambia, many people battling addiction cannot afford professional help. At Another Chance, we treat addiction as a disease—healing body, mind, and spirit while restoring dignity and hope.
